Abstract
The monitoring of molecules inhibiting bacterial growth in milk often stops at the screening level and no analyses are performed in order to detect the molecules which more frequentlyc auser esiduesE. ven researchw as not undertakent o fill this knowledge gap. Due to concerns of anaphylactic reactions and the spread of antibiotic resistanceis in the past, only the presenceo f B-lactama ntibioticr esiduesw as studied and methods aimed at the detection o f this class of moleculesw ere developed. Neverthelessi, it is necessary to have rapid confirmatory m ethods able to detect and quantify the greatest possible number of molecules. There is a particular lack of methods able to confirm residues of aminoglycosidesin milk. Aim of this researchw as the development of a rapid confirmatory methodf or such molecules and its subsequent use in samples which were positive at a screening test in order to evaluatet he eventual presence of residues of aminoglycosides in cows milk from the North of Italy.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
