Despite significant advances in research on second language acquisition by learners with specific learning difficulties over recent decades, the field of educational linguistics continues to suffer from a lack of large-scale linguistic data capable of illuminating the characteristics of these learners’ interlanguage. The Neurodivergent Learner Corpus , developed at the University of Parma (Italy), seeks to fill this gap. This paper provides a detailed account of the corpus’s features, its development process, and its potential contributions to both pedagogical practice and scientific research.

Abstract
Despite significant advances in research on second language acquisition by learners with specific learning difficulties over recent decades, the field of educational linguistics continues to suffer from a lack of large-scale linguistic data capable of illuminating the characteristics of these learners’ interlanguage. The Neurodivergent Learner Corpus , developed at the University of Parma (Italy), seeks to fill this gap. This paper provides a detailed account of the corpus’s features, its development process, and its potential contributions to both pedagogical practice and scientific research.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
