According to WHO, nutrition is relevant since the infant age as it affects learning and wellbeing of children and adolescents and the ageing process later in life. Hence, it is relevant to understand factors influencing eating habits since the early childhood. In addition, it is important to understand whether there are differences between children’s eating behaviour at home and at school. Thus, the objective of the study is to compare parents’ claims about children’s consumption of fruits and vegetables and their eating behaviour during snack and lunch time at school.

Abstract
According to WHO, nutrition is relevant since the infant age as it affects learning and wellbeing of children and adolescents and the ageing process later in life. Hence, it is relevant to understand factors influencing eating habits since the early childhood. In addition, it is important to understand whether there are differences between children’s eating behaviour at home and at school. Thus, the objective of the study is to compare parents’ claims about children’s consumption of fruits and vegetables and their eating behaviour during snack and lunch time at school.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
