The use of growth-promoting microorganisms (PGPMs) is considered an important strategy to increase the sustainability of agriculture, in a perspective of the reduction of chemical fertilizer input. Under controlled conditions, PGPMs can improve the germination efficiency and vigor, while in field conditions PGPMs can improve soil fertility, resistance to plant pathogens and environmental stresses and hence increase crop productivity and nutritional quality. In this research, T. turgidum spp. durum cv Svevo and T. aestivum cv Bramante were grown in Emilia-Romagna in two years (2019 and 2020) with different treatments that included the presence of a commercial biostimulant and a microbial carrier, biochar from plant biomass, also in combination.

Abstract
The use of growth-promoting microorganisms (PGPMs) is considered an important strategy to increase the sustainability of agriculture, in a perspective of the reduction of chemical fertilizer input. Under controlled conditions, PGPMs can improve the germination efficiency and vigor, while in field conditions PGPMs can improve soil fertility, resistance to plant pathogens and environmental stresses and hence increase crop productivity and nutritional quality. In this research, T. turgidum spp. durum cv Svevo and T. aestivum cv Bramante were grown in Emilia-Romagna in two years (2019 and 2020) with different treatments that included the presence of a commercial biostimulant and a microbial carrier, biochar from plant biomass, also in combination.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
