In our experience, the surgical treatment of Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (or von Recklinghausen's neurofibromatosis) and of linfangiomas with orbitopalpebral location has allowed us to reach good functional results (preservation of the visual function) while we have obtained only little aesthetic refinements performing multiple surgical procedures in children.
