The invention relates to a meristematic cell line selected from a plant belonging to the species Rhus coriaria, characterized by a high content of gallic acid and derivatives thereof,and to the cosmetic, nutraceutical and medical use of said cell line or a derivative thereof. The cell line comprises an amount of gallic acid and/or derivatives thereof, preferably hexosegallic acid, pentagalloyl hexoxide, hexagalloyl hexoxide, heptagalloyl hexoxide and octagalloyl hexoxide, that is greater than 3% w/w and preferably comprised between 5% and 20% w/w.The invention also relates to a phytocomplex or extract obtained from the cell line and the use thereof for use in the repair of damaged tissues, to treat irritated skin and to repair excoriations.
