Regolazione e controllo nella filiera agroalimentare in ottica One Health: un approccio sostenibile per la salute umana, animale ed ambientale

This paper aims to analyse the emergence of a new model of protection within the agri-food supply chain, that is directed not merely at compliance with the principle of competition, nor solely at the protection of human health. The "One Health" system regards human, animal, and environmental health as an indivisible object of protection. Administrative regulation serves the purpose of defining the rules for implementing this system of integrated safeguards, while control acts as the subsequent instrument for verifying the compliance of economic activity with them. However, regulation and control cannot be achieved through a single model alone, nor are public actors the only parties actively involved in their pursuit. The unitary nature of the purpose does not consequently bring simplification in its management.
