The codex Latin 3713, preserved in the French National Library, is a composite manuscript including texts of different content, datable to the twelfth and thirteenth centuries. Among these texts, we find two short logical treatises, included in fols 86r–88v and 88v–89v respectively, written by two different hands around the third or fourth quarter of the twelfth century. The two texts, which are presumably the product of the logical school of Parvipontani, are particularly noteworthy for the detailed analysis they offer of impossible assertables. Specifically, one of these treatises contains several proofs of the principle according to which everything follows from an impossible antecedent, together with a detailed discussion of the different kinds of impossibility that may be distinguished. My article offers an analysis and a partial edition of the text.

Abstract
My article offers an analysis and a partial edition of the text.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
