Abstract

Escape from the Castle is a digital escape game created in collaboration with “Museum of Saving” in Turin, Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center, Neuroscience Lab and GAME Science Research Center at IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca. The possibility to promote financial literacy using games has been extensively investigated (Paeßens & Winther 2021), also highlighting numerous attempts applying games (Richards et al. 2015). In recent years, escape games have also been investigated as tools for game-based learning (Fotaris & Mastoras 2019) with many examples of escape games for education (Veldkamp et al. 2020), including digital ones (Makri et al. 2021).
