Cooperare per crescere: il Consorzio Casalasco del Pomodoro

This article analyses the origins and evolution of the Consorzio Casalasco del Pomodoro, founded in 1977 in the province of Cremona, and now Italian leading producer of tomato sauce, purees, pulps, and concentrates. This is an integrated production chain (from farmers to industrial processing), in which cooperation plays an essential role. The Consorzio, which over time has acquired some of Italian most important brands, distinguished since the beginning for its technological competitiveness and this innovative mentality allowed it to meet the needs of its national and international customers, overcoming all negative trends.
