Jean Robert represents an important figure in the critique of the economy and modern society, and in particular in the debate on post-development. In his research and reflection, he has delved into many of the issues that are at the center of the debate on degrowth today. Although there are many points of contact, there are also specificities and sensitivities that make the dialogue between Robert and degrowth anything but obvious.
