The impetuous acquisition of information that derives from the thriving literature and the objective of aligning research in the field of veterinary oncology with international standards by adhering to the rules of Good Clinical Practice, guidelines have been formulated, which are easy to consult and reflect the best available published scientific evidence. With this in mind, the guidelines to be followed for the staging of cutaneous and subcutaneous mast cell tumors in dogs have been drawn up by a Panel of Experts and reviewed by External Auditors.
