The purpose of this paper is to highlight any decrease of the adhesion of the brackets to the enamel of teeth treated with the best known methods of caries prevention. Based on clinical experience gained in the Degree in Dental Hygiene, University of Pavia were identified following protocols: 1) topical application of fluoride 2) pastes made with casein 3) application of ozone. The laboratory research was performed by evaluating the release force of the brackets from the teeth of bovine extracted and treated in a controlled experimental protocols, and compared with a group of untreated control. The second phase of research was done by testing, using the same process: 1) topical application of Biorepair ® 2) treatment with glycine powder air flow 3) treatment with air flow hydroxyapatite powder. The results obtained lead interesting clinical indicati! ons to be taken in patients in orthodontic treatment multibracket.
