The paper talks about Giuliano Bonazzi, an important Italian librarian, scholar and writer, active between the late 1800s and early 1900s. Bonazzi represents a new figure of librarian who reorganizes the most important Italian libraries according to modern and international standards, and, at the same time, he studies and translates ancients authors, like Catullus and Propertius.
