In this work we elaborated, by means of the novel 3D Reconstructing Cutting method, 5 sets of cadaver glenoids, scanned with dual-source CT. The obtained high-resolution models were used to print polylactic acid replicas of the 10 glenoids. The realization of these bionic target structures based on smart devices allows the design of neural networks, able to support the clinicians' response for personalized clinical and surgical therapy planning, in keeping with the society 5.0 concept.

Abstract

In this work we elaborated, by means of the novel 3D Reconstructing Cutting method, 5 sets of cadaver glenoids, scanned with dual-source CT. The obtained high-resolution models were used to print polylactic acid replicas of the 10 glenoids. The realization of these bionic target structures based on smart devices allows the design of neural networks, able to support the clinicians' response for personalized clinical and surgical therapy planning, in keeping with the society 5.0 concept.
