In the present paper, the multiaxial fatigue strength assessment of notched components is performed by employing: (i) for High-Cycle Fatigue, a stress-based criterion in conjunction with the critical point method; (ii) for Low-Cycle Fatigue, a strain-based criterion in conjunction with the concept of control volume. The results determined through the above criteria are compared with some experimental data related to notched metallic specimens subjected to multiaxial fatigue loading.

Abstract
In the present paper, the multiaxial fatigue strength assessment of notched components is performed by employing: (i) for High-Cycle Fatigue, a stress-based criterion in conjunction with the critical point method; (ii) for Low-Cycle Fatigue, a strain-based criterion in conjunction with the concept of control volume. The results determined through the above criteria are compared with some experimental data related to notched metallic specimens subjected to multiaxial fatigue loading.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
