The topic of competences on the one hand and the creation of an integrated system ofservices for childhood from 0 to 6 years on the other, represent two current issues,referred to in literature as well as by European and international legislative indications.This contribution forms part of a training activity which draws together andproblematizes these two demands, involving all the educators, teachers and educationalcoordinators of the educational services and pre-schools for children aged 0 to 3 in anarea in the province of Bergamo. In presenting some first results of the two years of workcarried out to date, this article considers certain issues and parts of the project that areparticularly incisive from a training perspective, both for the professional developmentof the educators, teachers and coordinators involved and for the start of a process of co-construction of the broadest integrated educational system of the services and schools inwhich they operate at local level.
