The aim of this work is to evaluate the decay in the capabilities of corroded pre-stressed concrete beams. For this purpose, an experimental campaign was carried out using 10 beams of 5.4 meters long and a section of 300x150mm, with a high degree of natural non-uniform corrosion. Each considered beam has been tested in different configurations, with 3 and 4 points bending and shear, and the results were analysed using Digital Image Correlation. At the end of the tests the strands have been extracted in order to be catalogued in respect to the corrosion rate. Finally, a modelling procedure has been proposed in order to take into account the effects of different levels of corrosion.
