In the present paper, the fracture behaviour of roller-compacted concrete specimens is examined. Such specimens are reinforced with different types of steel and polypropylene fibres randomly distributed in the cementitious matrix. The Modified Two-Parameter Model, proposed by the authors, is employed to compute the critical stress intensity factor (fracture toughness) taking into account the possible kinked crack occurring during the stable crack propagation.

Abstract
