Abstract

The trans-autobiographical writing contaminates the autobiographical thought with imagination. The lightness and the playful spirit of this narrative reduce the author’s defences and help him to elaborate the pain induced by sorrowful life experiences. Through some text-building techniques the writer can decentralise his point of view and orient the reality towards self-fiction. The personal history changes and opens to desire, to dream and to surprise. This kind of narrative has been proposed in some contexts like schools, mental institutions, hospitals and it has always increased the author’s chances of reparation.
