Il “ponte di pietra”. La stratificazione insediativa del settore del ponte romano di Parma tra processi di formazione urbana, recupero dell’area archeologica e rigenerazione della città contemporanea

The Parma ancient bridge is the only ancient building still visible in the old town center. It’s also the subject of a recent study that aims to provide an analysis of its redevelopment and setting-up project. The restoration offers the opportunity to save the monument from degradation, to focus on the stratification of this particular urban sector and on the history of its discovery and planning and finally to study its contribution to urban transformation and regeneration of the contemporary city of Parma.
