Russico dialecto e lingua slavonica: annotazioni a margine di una grammatica-frasario di fine Seicento.

The study of spoken russian in Muscovy at the turn of the Seventeenth century is based more on the records of foreigners than on russian written sources: the formers, as a matter of fact, were not imprisoned by the stylistic norms of Church Slavonic and were written in the living Language for communication. The article intends to examine the grammar, phrase book and dictionary by Heinrich Ludolf in the main features, emerging from the continuous and conscious comparison of Slavic literary language and the russico dialecto: moreover, among the phonological features, will be considered the morphemes in liquid and the prevailing literary variants with metathesis respect to the russian ones with pleophony. The ‘literary’ language exhibited by Ludolf emphasizes the variety of purposes for which the grammar was intended.
