This article treats the quotation of AP 9,75 = GPh 2308-2309 in Suet. Dom. 14,2. Politian’s analysis and text have to be reconsidered, despite general rejection among recent editors of his exegesis: we cannot exclude that Suetonius attests a parody of the Greek epigram.
