Il rilievo integrato per la rappresentazione dei caratteri del paesaggio urbano. Il caso di Navelli e Civitaretenga (AQ) Integrated survey for the representation of urban landscape features: the case of Navelli and Civitaretenga (Aquila)

In 2011, following the severe damage caused by the earthquake of 6 April 2009, in the Abruzzo region, the Municipality of Navelli signed an agreement with the Department of Architecture and Civil, Environmental and Territorial Engineering of the University of Parma. The aim of the agreement is to develop scientific and technical activities of study, analysis and planning for the reconstruction of the historic centre of the village of Navelli and the Civitaretenga fraction. The research team has addressed the issue through an original interdisciplinary methodological approach, involving the establishment of a readily searchable and updatable information archive. The approach assigns survey activities a central role, as a tool of critical knowledge through which the built heritage reveals the wealth of information of which it is the bearer. In particular, through a highly integrated approach applying both traditional tools and techniques and innovative methods, the archives permits the representation of the characteristics of the entire urban context in descriptive and interpretative graphic documents.
