Red blood cells collected from patients with leukaemia and breast cancer have been investigated with Mössbauer spectroscopy. A component not usually present in red cells has been analysed. The Mössbauer parameters, also supported by electron spin resonance measurements, suggest that they can be assigned to a hemocrome. © 1988 Società Italiana di Fisica.

Abstract
Red blood cells collected from patients with leukaemia and breast cancer have been investigated with Mössbauer spectroscopy. A component not usually present in red cells has been analysed. The Mössbauer parameters, also supported by electron spin resonance measurements, suggest that they can be assigned to a hemocrome. © 1988 Società Italiana di Fisica.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
