The topic of water saving is common to many scientific fields. In agricultural systems it is possible to limit the depletion of water by designing an efficient irrigation system. For this purpose it is fundamental to assess the droplets evaporation in a sprinkler jet. The state of the art of literature offers two ways: one consists in adopting a classical viewpoint, using simplifying hypothesis to solve numerical approximation methods; the second regards the adopting of a classical viewpoint. But, if generally this last method appears more suitable to describe all the interactions among several droplets, it is actually hard to find discrete solutions of irrigation problems. On the other hand the latest CFD implementation offers good responses regarding numerical approximation approaches.

Abstract
On the other hand the latest CFD implementation offers good responses regarding numerical approximation approaches.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
