The whole life of Maurits Cornelis Escher can be interpreted as a long and uninterrupted journey through space and time to attempt to give form to infinity. At first he traveled physically especially through the center-south of Italy and Spain, then he undertaken a complex inner journey through spaces almost unexplored with only the company of his extraordinary creativity which led him to explore imaginary and impossible worlds. The key element that binds together these extraordinary journeys is made by drawing, first used as a tool to represent reality and then as a means to give form to his imagination.
