The invention relates to rigid quinoxaline cavitands of formula (I) wherein R' is chosen from -CH2- and -CH2-CH2-; R is a C1-C20 linear or branched alkyl chain, not substituted or substituted with a group chosen from: an olefin, acetylenic, alc., azidic, phosphonic or acid group. The quinoxaline cavitands according to the invention are used for making adsorbent fibers and/or cartridges for the selective detn. of atm. pollutants such as Benzene, Toluene, Et benzene and Xylene in the air (BTEX). The pollutants selectively adsorbed on the fibers and/or cartridges are then analyzed through gas chromatographic analysis.

Abstract
The invention relates to rigid quinoxaline cavitands of formula (I) wherein R' is chosen from -CH2- and -CH2-CH2-; R is a C1-C20 linear or branched alkyl chain, not substituted or substituted with a group chosen from: an olefin, acetylenic, alc., azidic, phosphonic or acid group. The quinoxaline cavitands according to the invention are used for making adsorbent fibers and/or cartridges for the selective detn. of atm. pollutants such as Benzene, Toluene, Et benzene and Xylene in the air (BTEX). The pollutants selectively adsorbed on the fibers and/or cartridges are then analyzed through gas chromatographic analysis.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
