Abstract
In 1950 Yugoslavia came back at the Venice Biennale with a national pavilion, in 1956 the National Gallery of Modern Art in Rome hosted an exhibition of Yugoslavian contemporary art curated by Zoran Križi ć , in 1957 Yugoslavia participated at the XI edition of the Milan Triennale. The analysis of the relationships between cultural institutions and the various modes of critical selection allows us to reconstruct the dynamics of exchange between these two areas, at a time when the debate was intense around the international dimension of the artistic research: during these years the foundations were laid for significant relationship between Italy and Yugoslavia, which will be strengthened in the 1960s.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
