Some remarks are dedicated to the paradosis and the text of fr. 10 Powell, belonging to the lost Hymn to Hermes of Eratosthenes. Particularly, the meaning of the synonymous pair χερνῆτις ἔριθος (v. 2) is discussed and a conjectural emendation of ἔριθος is eventually suggested.
