A total of 1011 cows belonging to two different dairy farms of north part of Italy with problems of aflatoxins were enrolled for this study. In both farms the presence of aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) in the unifeed diet and subsequently aflatoxin M1 (AFM1) in the milk were detected. The animals were divided in two groups: A and B. In group A unifeed was treated with sequestering agents, such as mycotoxins agents, while for group B only some components of the diet were modified. The group tested with capturing agents showed to have a better reproductive efficiency, high milk production per day per cow and a better Body Condition Score (BCS).
