There is ample evidence taht UV causes considerable changes in the skin immune system. We show in this report that high number of IL-4+ cells appeared in the epidermis and dermis of human skin upon UV-exposure. Caracterization of these cells suggests that they are neutrophils, which together with other cells contribute to local immunosuppression.
