The occourrence of T cell in normal huma fetal skin is poorly understood. t cell and Langerhans cell population were studied in human fetal skin. analysis of T cells and Langerhans cells in different body region did not show topographic differences in number and composition. Wew suggest that lack of epidermal t cells, although the LC network is fully represented, might reflect the scarce oportunity of fetal LC to contact foreign antigens in utero.
