Two main paradigms are compared of the relatioinship between biology and social behaviour: sociobioly and self-organization. The first one is based on the primacy of the genetic explanations and its relationship with the social sciences tends to master them unilaterally. The second one is interdisciplinary and allows for a reacher relationship between evolutionary biology and social sciences.

Abstract

Two main paradigms are compared of the relatioinship between biology and social behaviour: sociobioly and self-organization. The first one is based on the primacy of the genetic explanations and its relationship with the social sciences tends to master them unilaterally. The second one is interdisciplinary and allows for a reacher relationship between evolutionary biology and social sciences.
