Abstract

The chromatographic behaviour of some monosubstituted derivatives of the tetranuclear cluster (Cp)NiOs3 (μH)3(CO)9 (Cp = cyclopentadienyl) with group V donor ligands (benzonitrile tertiary phosphines, triphenylamine and triphenylstibine) is reported. In reversed-phase and adsorption liquidchromatography, the kind of the substituents strongly influences the retention volumes, the dimension of the whole cluster having less effect. Correlations of retention volumes with the nature of the substituents were found only for small of compounds
