A previous paper (Csermely and Wood-Gush, 1987) showed that aggression among grouped sows is mainly restricted to feeding. Another possible period of increased aggression is immediately after grouping. This study describes the amount of aggression recorded in groups of pregnant sows immediately after group formation.
