A nonlinear anisotropic mechanical model, already proposed for ordinary masonry, has been here extended to AAC masonry to describe the structural behaviour of bearing walls, both at SLS and ULS conditions. To this scope, several three point bending tests and uniaxial and biaxial compressive tests have been carried out on beams and panels made of AAC masonry, so to calibrate the main parameters of the model. The capability and reliability of the proposed procedure have been then verified by simulating the experimental behaviour of a full-scale bearing wall, through NLFE analysis.

Abstract
A nonlinear anisotropic mechanical model, already proposed for ordinary masonry, has been here extended to AAC masonry to describe the structural behaviour of bearing walls, both at SLS and ULS conditions. To this scope, several three point bending tests and uniaxial and biaxial compressive tests have been carried out on beams and panels made of AAC masonry, so to calibrate the main parameters of the model. The capability and reliability of the proposed procedure have been then verified by simulating the experimental behaviour of a full-scale bearing wall, through NLFE analysis.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
