A short comparison of the official ‘curricula’ of Czech Republic and Italy shows that the aim of the teaching-learning of kindergarten are similar. The space devoted to mathematics in teacher education is too reduced in both country. A proposal for to make teacher aware of the children’s mathematics pre-conception is presented by the means of tools.
