The present invention relates to a method for in situ repairing (relining) of pipes or conduits which uses a latent epoxy system comprising a dispersion of a crosslinkable resin, a carbamate salt of an amine and possibly an amine compound. The system is applied to a substrate, for example a sheath made of a polymer material, which is positioned in the piping at the point where the repair is to be made. Once positioned the sheath is heated such as to determine an unlocking of the carbamate and the starting of the crosslinking reaction and therefore the repairing of the piping The latent epoxy system enables start-up of the crosslinking reaction between the amine and a crosslinking resin only when the substrate is applied to the piping

Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for in situ repairing (relining) of pipes or conduits which uses a latent epoxy system comprising a dispersion of a crosslinkable resin, a carbamate salt of an amine and possibly an amine compound. The system is applied to a substrate, for example a sheath made of a polymer material, which is positioned in the piping at the point where the repair is to be made. Once positioned the sheath is heated such as to determine an unlocking of the carbamate and the starting of the crosslinking reaction and therefore the repairing of the piping The latent epoxy system enables start-up of the crosslinking reaction between the amine and a crosslinking resin only when the substrate is applied to the pipingFile | Dimensione | Formato | |
