Abstract

In this paper present a multi-agent framework for integrating the emergent technology of the interactive digital television with new types of services to support the cooperative activities of different types of virtual communities. As an example of such kind of service we present a community game, in which we have a real-time interaction between two DTV users, and an online auction, in which although the interaction is asynchronous.
