Abstract
Our knowledge of the preferential use of limbs for feeding (footedness) in birds is still limited. Birds of prey are good candidates for such a study as they use feet to grasp prey, particularly when this occurs on the ground. I analysed the patterns of several successful predatory attempts by rehabilitated individuals of several species of hawks and owls.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
