Abstract

An automatic tool for adapting law of motion to constant-breadth cam mechanisms has been implemented. It allows to obtain a law which preserve some characteristics of the starting law, as overall stroke, precision points, dwells or constant speed strokes. Some examples are shown, including the redesign of a mill-drill drive based on a groove cam.
