Abstract
In the last decade, research on detection algorithms capable of mitigating the effects of colored Gaussian thermal noise and transition noise in storage systems, has proposed a number of solutions. In this paper, we present a new detection scheme based on a multidimensional receiver front-end and linear prediction applied to Maximum A-Posteriory Probability (MAP) sequence detection, which improves the Bit Error Rate (BER) performance with respect to previous solutions.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
