We investigate the role of classical electrostatic interactions between a couple of polar π-conjugated molecules. Important cooperative and collective effects are demonstrated, well beyond the standard mean-field and excitonic approximations. The coupling of electronic degrees of freedom with molecular vibrations and its spectroscopic consequences are addressed.

Abstract
We investigate the role of classical electrostatic interactions between a couple of polar π-conjugated molecules. Important cooperative and collective effects are demonstrated, well beyond the standard mean-field and excitonic approximations. The coupling of electronic degrees of freedom with molecular vibrations and its spectroscopic consequences are addressed.File in questo prodotto:
