The dynamic microsimulation model MIND (incorporating individual behaviours) examines household evolution in Italy and the impact of Social Securitys reforms on inequality and poverty (increasing due to the current indexation system). Results are accurate and reliable and allow meaningful policy analyses (e.g. measure the impact of income growth, interest rates and education improvements, which may depend on different public interventions).

Abstract

The dynamic microsimulation model MIND (incorporating individual behaviours) examines household evolution in Italy and the impact of Social Securitys reforms on inequality and poverty (increasing due to the current indexation system). Results are accurate and reliable and allow meaningful policy analyses (e.g. measure the impact of income growth, interest rates and education improvements, which may depend on different public interventions).
