ASK MODULAR TOOL a modular tool for audio systems measurement, analysis and tuning

ASK modular tool is the name of the developed software. It permits to design FIR filters used to equalize the audio systems. The architecture of the tool is highly scalable and every digital signal processing operation in bounded inside a distinct software module. The modules are connected to each other and the position they have in the chain is configurable, several equalization solutions can be experimented modifying one single file. The AQT analysis method, the multiposition correction and the research of a way to limit the inverse filters pre-ringing have been the hot topics of the project. The theoretical and practical aspects are discussed and some experimental results obtained employing the developed software are shown.
