This dissertation looks for comic aspects in the Corpus Lysiacum with the aim to verify if there is an influence of comedy and if we can consider that as an evidence of fictitious speech. After an introduction about comic theories and the use of laughter by the orators, the work examines the lexicon, some examples of witticism, characters and plots.
