Giambattista Vico: Immaginazione, Immagine, Immaginario

This work is a wide recognition of Giambattista Vico's Thought, that begins with the very early works pointing to the late masterpiece, the New Science. Divided in three parts, it aims to give a name to that Science that Vico himself left anonymous. The main hypothesis, which finds its own ground in the third part of the essay, is that of a Science of Imagery, a reconstruction of that vast territory that human minds created towards the centuries and still contribute to enlarge through imagination, invention, stories.
