The chapter examines how Pentecostal-charismatic churches (PCCs) in Uganda have actively reshaped the nation's public sphere and political discourse. By leveraging Uganda's national motto, "For God and My Country," these rapidly growing religious movements promote a highly politicized "born-again" model of Christian nationalism. The chapter analyzes how PCCs intertwine individual spiritual transformation with national moral redemption. In doing so, they frame sexual morality—specifically through strict anti-homosexuality rhetoric and the defense of the traditional family unit—as a core tenet of modern Ugandan citizenship, patriotism, and national identity
