Working with CLIL

This article aims at presenting some of the central tenets of CLIL methodology, focusing in particular on its flexibility and adaptability to a variety of educational contexts. Thus, emphasis will be laid on the different theoretical approaches that teachers and instructors might adopt, the various types of activities they might require their students to perform, the methods of assessment they could implement, etc. In its final section, the article illustrates a few examples of activities that were employed during one of the CLIL modules the author taught in different Italian contexts.
